Who uses it?

Two types of people, but primarily here's the situation:

You want to run your site using Geneva. You know it's not going to be on everyone's machine, so you want to find a good font stack to fall back on. Font-Family should be able to help you - because other people will have used Geneva and have suggested good families to use.

How does the font testing work?

When the font name is in red it means the font isn't installed on your machine. In practise this sometimes causes some false negatives.

This method relies on the Comic Sans MS font being installed. It then compares the width of a collection of characters against the rendered with of the font you're viewing. If they don't match, then it asserts the font is installed.
